Job Title: Nightshift Aircraft Cleaning Operative
Location: Spitfire House, adjacent to Edinburgh Airport
Type of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £11.20 per hour


The rostered shifts will be from 7 pm to 6.15 pm, and the shift pattern is 4 days on and 4 days off, with overtime also available. A week of paid classroom-based training will be completed prior to commencing work on-site, starting on 3rd April 2023. The candidate should be available for weekend shifts and holidays.

Requirements: The eligible candidate must hold a UK drivers' license for driving airside vehicles as part of the role, and must have a valid passport (either foreign or UK) or a UK drivers' license to be eligible for an airside pass.

Responsibilities

Job Description: The main duties of the Aircraft Cleaning Operative will include cleaning the aircraft cabin area, compartments, and restrooms of the aircraft, ensuring that areas are always cleaned to the highest standards, conducting a full detailed search of the aircraft as required, and dressing the seats with blankets & pillows on long haul aircraft. The successful candidate must have attention to detail, be able to work under pressure, be able to work as part of a team, and be able to adapt quickly within a busy operational environment. Prior experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
